Our client is a private equity invested, rapidly expanding professional service firm, providing consulting, advisory, accounting, tax and other alternative services to global clients across the globe. In line with their continuing growth plan, they are now looking for a high calibre and dynamic GM of Finance and Operations to drive the growth of their Greater China region.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Regional COO, this is a newly created role that will be responsible for :
- Leading, coaching and upskilling a large team of over 100+ consultants across the region
- Developing and improving their client service delivery to multinational corporations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, efficiency and more useful insight of data to clients
- Driving client facing relationships, business development and the capitalisation of new revenue opportunities
- Hands-on to integrate and improve processes and procedures across all M&A activity
- Continually upskill and internationalise the mindset and motivation of teams, bring together alignment and collaboration across functions
- Work with visionary and dynamic stakeholders that are keen to drive growth, profiling and market positioning in the industry
Job Requirements
Suitable candidates must have a strong record of achievement in their career to date, including :
Qualified accountants with an ACA / CPA or equivalent finance qualification12-15 years’ experience in working in large scale client servicing environments, including consulting, shared service centres, insurance, real estate or facilities management sectorsBe technically strong to advise on complex accounting transactions or updates to accounting rules, regulations and international standardsProven leadership ability to transform and upskill large teams, being able to manage through othersDemonstrated ability to drive change across operations, streamline and improve processes and procedures to increase efficiencyNot afraid to utilise technology or embrace new ideas or tech concepts to change traditional working methodsHave strong communication skills in both English and Chinese, especially MandarinFlexibility to travel across multiple offices in the Greater China regionThis is a high profile leadership role within a global group, where you will have good visibitily with key leadership and the global management team.
