Contribute to the implementation of PHKL’s actuarial projects under the Future Finance Programme (‘FFP’), which aims to improve PHKL’s actuarial processes through automation and improved controls, allowing more time to be spent on analysis and value adding work.
Job Descriptions :
- Collaborate with Actuarial and Finance transformation team members to achieve FFP ambitions and outcomes
- Support the delivery of PHKL’s actuarial projects in the FFP across :
- Management information and analytics
- Transformation and related automation implementations to enhance process and systems
- Regulatory and statutory reporting
- Assist in documenting processes and results for internal and external stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve PHKL’s processes and efficiency
- Contribute to the analysis of existing processes and the identification of processes which can be improved
- Develop and implement solutions across PHKL’s actuarial team to alleviate the pain points
Job Requirements :
Relevant experience in actuarial / accounting functions. Experience in professional service firms delivering actuarial transformation projects is preferred.Hands-on implementation experience with analytics software packages (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI) preferred but not a mustAbility to solve logical problems and explain solutions in a clear mannerKnowledge of actuarial systems and different reporting processes is highly desirableExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problemsStrong technical and interpersonal skillsSelf-starter approach to workAbility to work under pressure with multiple competing demandsMeticulous documentation and attention to detail, strong organisation skills and a strong sense of ownershipGood stakeholder management skills
