Role Overview
The AVP Product Management (Wholesale Mobility) will lead the end-to-end development, launch, and scaling of innovative wholesale mobility solutions. This strategic leadership role focuses on building products tailored for MNOs, MVNOs, and MVNEs, while driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, sales, marketing, and operations.
Key responsibilities
- Product Development & Strategy Lead the design, development, and lifecycle management of end-to-end wholesale mobility products, including : Wholesale Mobility offerings targeting MNOs, MVNOs, and MVNEs Sponsored Roaming solutions Define product vision and strategy based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis Collaborate with adjacent product teams (IoT, IPX, SMS) to create integrated, bundled offerings
- Go-To-Market Execution Partner with Sales, Presales, and Marketing to develop GTM strategies, positioning, messaging, and enablement materials Drive product launches, feature rollouts, and customer adoption plans
- Operational Excellence Work closely with Operations to streamline processes across ordering, configuration, billing, technical support, and customer lifecycle management Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in product delivery and support
- Performance & Innovation Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and OKRs that reflect product health and business impact Integrate APIs, AI / ML capabilities, and automation into the product roadmap to drive innovation and scalability
Deliverables & KPI
Own the Profit & Loss (P&L) for assigned product lines, including revenue forecasting, cost management, and financial planningDevelop and publish quarterly product roadmaps, incorporating input from internal stakeholders and customersMonitor and report on product performance metrics, including usage, customer satisfaction, time-to-market, and profitabilityCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth product execution across sales, marketing, provisioning, support, and operationsRequirements
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Product Management within the telecommunications or mobile technology industry Demonstrated expertise in Wholesale Mobility, MVNO / MVNE platforms, and Sponsored Roaming solutions Hands-on experience in Mobile Core network integration, service delivery, performance enhancement and troubleshooting issues related to data / SMS / VoLTE Proven track record of managing complex product portfolios with ownership of P&L and financial forecastingTechnical Skills In-depth understanding of 3GPP protocols and mobile network architecture Experience with IoT and Travel SIM connectivity platforms, including provisioning, billing, and device management systems Strong knowledge of API design and integration; working familiarity with tools like Postman, Python, and BigQuery preferred Experience troubleshooting technical integrations between telecom operators and enterprise platformsSoft Skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English; proficiency in Mandarin and / or Cantonese is a plus Ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, marketing, and finance Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Willingness and ability to travel
