We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Cargo Sales Agent to join our team in Hong Kong . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of cargo services, maintaining relationships with clients, and contributing to the growth of the company's logistics and freight forwarding business. As a Cargo Sales Agent, you will work closely with both internal teams and external customers to understand their shipping needs and provide customized solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients in various industries that require cargo and logistics solutions.
Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their shipping requirements, and offering tailored cargo solutions.
Sales Target Achievement : Achieve sales targets and KPIs by developing and implementing strategies for customer acquisition and retention.
Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities and stay competitive in the market.
Quotation and Pricing : Prepare and present accurate pricing and quotations to customers, ensuring that the cargo services offered meet their needs while remaining cost-effective.
Negotiation and Closing Deals : Negotiate terms and close sales contracts with clients, ensuring all contractual agreements are aligned with company policies.
Collaboration : Work closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of cargo services to clients.
Customer Support : Provide excellent after-sales service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Reporting : Regularly report on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback to the Vice President of Business Development and The Management team.
Compliance : Ensure all sales activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cargo sales, freight forwarding, or logistics, preferably within the Hong Kong and / or ASEAN market.
Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of the logistics and cargo industry, including various shipping methods and customs regulations in Hong Kong.
Sales Skills : Proven track record in sales with excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Language : Proficiency in Cantonese and English is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
Tech-Savvy : Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Customer Focus : Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate and meet client needs.
Self-Motivated : Ability to work independently and proactively identify new opportunities in a competitive environment.
Travel : Willingness to travel within Thailand and ASEAN region to meet clients and attend industry events as needed.
