The Department
Reporting to Senior Manager, Stables Systems and Processes, the incumbent has well-diversified jobs & responsibilities for ensuring various IT systems which support Dual Site Stables Operations are fully operational for Dual Site Stables Operations department and Trainers and their teams to carry out their businesses effectively and efficiently.
The incumbent will also need to take personal drive for own development and support any future development and business opportunities of leveraging IT solutions for improving dual site stables operations.
The Job
You will
- Analyze and consolidates business requirements from different stakeholders and work with users on operation design / enhancements and functional specifications for implementing IT solutions.
- Captures pain points / improvement areas for improving Dual Site operations and capture business requirements and liaises with internal stakeholders on prioritization and translates these requirements to IT for system designs and development.
- Work closely with IT and other departments during solutions development, testing, implementation and product launch phases for new systems or system enhancements.
- Lead and compiles User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents and perform UAT as per the business process and operating procedures.
- Lead the implementation of system changes and works closely with other teams to facilitate the preparation of business process flows, SOP, working instructions and carry out related training before system launches.
- Act as a focal point to other teams in the department and coordinate with IT Team in identifying root cause(s) and feasible solution(s) to rectify system issues in SMIS, RIS, RTA, HMIS, etc.
- Work as the focal contact point between various teams and respective IT departments to process user requests.
- Maintain SOP register and acts as departmental coordinator for maintaining SOP, Guidelines and Policies in Central Repository System for Racing Rules and Policies.
- Prepare and analyze routine management reports as directed by supervisor.
About You
You should have
Tertiary or above education in business administration, information systems or a related subjectMinimum of 8 years relevant working experienceProficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and PutonghuaProficiency in using MS Access and other MS Office toolsKnowledge of software development lifecycle, in particular, application software acceptance testingKnowledge of data visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI, SQL Server Reporting Service, etc.Good problem solving, analytical and communication skillsAble to work and communicate with diverse stakeholdersSome racing knowledge and passion with horses will be considered an added advantageTerms of Employment
