- Oversee quality control and assurance across the Company's global apparel trim and packaging supply chain.
- Ensure products meet the standards for quality and compliance by managing inspection protocols, overseeing customer quality complaint resolution, and driving continuous improvement.
- Lead both in-house and field-based quality teams while maintaining strong partnerships with customers, vendors, and factories.
- Maintain and refine incoming product inspection protocols to reduce defects, support inventory accuracy, and uphold quality benchmarks.
- Direct all aspects of customer quality complaint resolution, including initial troubleshooting, corrective action plans (CAP’s), and follow-up to resolve the customer's issue.
- Conduct quality data analytics to prioritize issues, conduct appropriate root cause analysis, and deploy comprehensive preventive actions that will eliminate the potential for repeat defects and quality issues across all customers and products.
- Manage, oversee, and improve standardized processes for complaints and quality incidents.
- Create and distribute quality performance reports with actionable analytics and trend analysis.
- Oversee Field Quality Control operations conducted by Field Quality team and third-party inspection agencies.
- Define inspection criteria, audit protocols, and reporting standards to ensure consistent execution across global regions.
- Manage the scheduling, performance tracking, and quality outcomes of field-based QC activities.
- Collaborate with Production teams to ensure factory partners meet Company quality requirements and standards.
- Develop and refine processes that improve product quality, minimize rework, and reduce returns or complaints.
- Leverage quality data and analytics to identify systemic issues, measure supplier performance, and recommend improvements.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the supply chain and quality operations.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in quality control / assurance within the apparel trims and packaging manufacturing industry.
- Strong experience with AQL standards, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive action planning.
- Proven ability to manage quality teams across multiple geographies, including third-party QC partners.
- Occasional trips to China & Vietnam
