We are now seeking a full-time Senior Manager / Divisional Manager - Merchandising to join our team.
What you'll do is to......
Lead and manage key customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service and innovative merchandising strategies to foster long-term partnerships and business growth.
Translate customer needs into clear product development objectives, working closely with technical, production, and design teams to ensure alignment on quality, cost, and lead times.
Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from concept to bulk production, ensuring adherence to customer expectations and company standards.
Provide strategic direction to the merchandising team, guiding problem-solving on production, quality, or sourcing issues through proactive and cost-effective solutions.
Lead supplier management and sourcing strategy, including vendor evaluation, price negotiation, delivery planning, and risk mitigation to ensure supply chain efficiency and flexibility.
Ensure product and material quality standards are consistently met or exceeded, both internally and across vendor networks.
Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders (including design, sourcing, and production) to align merchandising strategies with business objectives.
Mentor and develop merchandising talent, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
Contribute to business planning, budgeting, and department-level KPIs, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
Undertake additional responsibilities or special projects as directed by senior management.
You will thrive in the role if you ……
Degree or higher diploma in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, Clothing Technology, or a related field
10+ years of experience in sweater merchandising, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership capacity
Proven experience managing large customer accounts, ideally with strong exposure to the US market
Strategic thinker with strong commercial and product knowledge, especially in sweater materials and production processes
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional projects, and work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with PLM or ERP systems
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, vendor visits, or production follow-ups
