The Department
The Security and Integrity Department (S&I) is responsible for the preservation of integrity by combatting criminality and corruption risks that can threaten horse racing, betting, and membership at the Club. The maintenance of a secure environment and integrity is key to our business. Not only is it important to ensure horse racing in Hong Kong is fair, it is also of paramount importance to the Club that there is governance and fair opportunities in all bet-placements. The Security and Integrity Department consists of Security, Integrity, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) as well as Financial Crime Risk (FCR) teams.
The job holder reports to the Assistant Security Manager, Operations Planning and Logistics. He / She is responsible for collaborating with other internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective security planning and provide operational support to Corporate Security colleagues at both Sha Tin and Happy Valley racecourses.

The Job
You will :
Assists the Assistant Security Manager in managing and developing a team of Security Supervisors and Officers to provide support to Corporate Security;Manages and supervises Security Supervisors, Officers and Part-time staff;Be responsible for the scheduling all security personnel under your area of responsibility;Works shift duties including on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, and work at various in / outside Hong Kong;Performs race day duty to support Security Operations to supervise and deploy in-house and contracted security personnel;Performs ad-hoc operational duty for other Club’s events in Hong Kong, the mainland (in particular Conghua Racecourse) and / or any other places outside Hong Kong;Provides operational planning and logistics support to all race meetings and any Club’s events in Hong Kong, the mainland (in particular Conghua Racecourse) and / or any other places outside Hong Kong;Plans and arranges law enforcement officers, security contractors and / or part-time staff to support race meetings and Club’s events;Ensures the efficient operation by maintaining all equipment on site is operational and available for Corporate Security;Provides applicable recommendations to strive for constant improvement;Ensures compliance with Responsible Gambling Policy (RGP) and all stipulated legal requirements pertaining to wagering, thereby protecting the integrity of the Club’s business;Undertakes other duties as assigned by Line Manager.About You
You should have :
A minimum of five passes in HKCEE / HKDSE including English and Chinese. Tertiary education level preferred;A minimum of seven years relevant working experiences of which at least three years at supervisory level;Fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese (proficiency in Mandarin is a plus), reading and writing in Chinese is essential;Be a holder of a valid Security Personnel Permit;Good physical essential for carrying out guard duties;Initiative and willing to work shift duties and race day duty (including public holidays);Valid Hong Kong driving license code No. 1 & 2 is preferred;Be experienced in handling different types of security & safety related incidents.Terms of Employment
