Sources reference and carries out research to illustrate a design direction to the clients, working with architects and graphic designers in the project team.
Produces concept work using hand sketches and a variety of digital and traditional media to a high standard whilst directing the work of other junior team members on the project.
Project Delivery
Ensures successful delivery and completion of a project within agreed timelines and budgets.
Attends site visits independently and responds to any issues.
Assembles presentations using a variety of digital and traditional media, particularly Adobe InDesign.
Produces and checks drawing packages for Schematic and Detail Stages.
Competently sources reference material and carries out research to ensure that materials and products are fit for purpose.
Leads project communication, including liaising with the design & construction team and written communications
Records design team or site meetings either by minutes, letters, emails or file notes and checks the work of others.
Produces and checks furniture and finishes schedules.
