THE COMPANY :

  • Toys brand owner, designer, manufacturer & marketer
  • Main market : Japan, Asia Pacific & worldwide
  • We are looking for  INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ASSISTANT MANAGER / MANAGER - with details as follows :

THE JOB :

  • Monitor and enforce the IP rights, including identifying and addressing potential infringements.
  • To provide guidance and support on IP matters, including product development and branding etc.
  • Conduct factory audit to make sure vendors comply with IP regulations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve the potential IP infringements.
  • Follow up the findings of customer’s IP audit by CAPA.
  • Provide IP training to employees to increase their awareness and understanding of IP rules.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of IP assets and related documents.
  • Keep updating on the changes of IP laws, regulations and industry best practices.
  • Supervise one IP Officer
  • Degree holder preferably in Law / Quality Management ....or related
  • 5+ years IP experience, of which preferably 2+ years in senior level
  • Work experience in the toy industry is preferable
  • QA or factory audit experience is a plus
  • Strong compliance concept and able to implement the required regulations.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese including Mandarin.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Work in Shenzhen office (close to MTR, can same day return Hong Kong)
  • Occasional trip to Vietnam
