The Department
The job holder is responsible in the strategic planning and logistical execution of events and engagement activities of the Trust to Club's Senior Members in order to let them reinforce the Club's / Trust's image, the impact of the Trust-funded projects and reputation as the biggest community benefactor in Hong Kong and one of the world's top 10 Charitable Foundations. She will collaborate with multiple divisions within the Club and other external stakeholders such as NGOs, academic partners, foundations and government partners etc. in arranging engagement activities.
The Job
- Support the team in the planning and preparation of Trust's signature events Scholarship Dinner, Community Trophy Race Day, and Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum, etc)
- Devise and implement stakeholder engagement action plan to support the Trust's initiatives especially on event and activities to Club's Voting Members / Honorary Voting Members
- Plan and execute strategic ideas to enhance the Trust's image and profile as Hong Kong's major benefactor, with an emphasis on engagement events and activities
- Proactively plan and coordinate engagement events and activities with beneficiary organisations for Trust donated projects
- Collaborate with internal partner teams to ensure smooth implementation of engagement events and activities
- Maintain accurate records, prepare reports and necessary information on engagement events and activities
About You
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or other related disciplinesA minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in event management; experience in managing digital channels will be a plusExperience in social welfare sector / community services / philanthropy or related disciplines would be an advantageExcellent writing proficiency (in both English and Chinese) and communication skillsStrong attention to details and works well under pressure and tight deadlinesAbility to engage stakeholders and establish rapportAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively for teamworkTerms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the selected candidate.
