Role Purpose :

Strategic role developing communication strategies to enhance AS Watson’s international communications, brand, and stakeholder engagement, managing resources and teams. As the world's largest international health and beauty retailer, the role also includes managing resources and teams, demonstrating a strong commitment to driving excellence.

A typical day in this Role :

To oversee various communication channels and activities, including media relations, public relations, social media, newsletters, websites, events, presentations, reports, and crisis management.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, this strategic role is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies to enhance AS Watson’s reputation, brand, and stakeholder engagement.

To oversee high-quality content creation, including speeches, presentations, articles, and social media posts, and formulate strategies to enhance brand awareness across the corporate website and social media platforms.

Involves organizing and managing the Group’s global and large-scale events and media events, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals.

Success will depend on :

Academic background in journalism, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent.

Minimum 10 years of experience in external relations, media, corporate communications or public affairs, preferably in sizable company.

With exp. in managing a team of Corporate communication team, collaboration with cross functional teams to formulate content angles and external resources to achieve project goal.

Proven expertise in organizational and time management, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision while efficiently handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to creating impactful messages and press releases.

Strong interpersonal abilities, excelling at fostering and maintaining relationships with media, business partners and key stakeholders.
