Responsibilities :
- Providing legal support to global HR functions and advising on employment related legal matters
- Provide subject matter legal advice on employment law matters across APAC, including but not limited to, employee relations, workplace policies, terminations, and compliance with labor laws.
- Take a lead role in managing external counsels
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations.
- Develop and deliver training programs on employment law topics for HR teams and management.
- Provide support to senior management and participate in strategic planning for improvement
- Assist in the resolution of employment disputes, including handling grievances, mediations, and representing the company in employment-related litigation.
- Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement effective workplace policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance on best practices for employee performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
- Support the company's diversity and inclusion initiatives by ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity laws.
Minimum Qualifications :
Qualified lawyer with ideally minimum of 3- years of experience in employment law, preferably from corporates / financial institutions or law firms.Strong knowledge of employment law within APAC region.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise legal advice to non-legal stakeholders.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.Track record of working cross-functionally to achieve company goals while showcasing prioritization skills.Compensation, Benefits & Location :
