- Strategic Project Leadership :
Lead high-impact data centre projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they meet business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define project goals, scope, and deliverables in alignment with the firm’s strategic priorities.
- Stakeholder Engagement :
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, compliance, and external vendors.
- Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk and Compliance Management :
Identify and assess project risks and develop robust mitigation strategies, especially concerning compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Ensure all data centre operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including data security and financial regulations.
- Budget and Resource Management :
Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring expenditures and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring :
Establish quality standards for project deliverables and monitor compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to assess project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and lessons learned.
- Prepare and present project updates and performance metrics to senior management and relevant committees.
What You’ll Need :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on data centre operations and infrastructure within the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of investment banking operations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Professional qualification in PMP is an advantage
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, and vendor management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
