We are searching for an enthusiastic event assistant manager with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organization in hosting events that enhance our organization's image, improve client loyalty, and enhance our brand-to-client experience.
The event assistant manager will be tasked with researching and securing venues, planning, and managing our events' calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, networking, and delivering on event brief objectives.
Your creativity, organizational skills, and vision will assist our organization in amplifying brand visibility, enhancing client and employee relations, and improve our organization's growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality.
The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate exceptional organizational abilities, superb interpersonal skills, multi-tasking skills, and excellent time-management. The noteworthy Event Manager should reinforce client-to-business relations, improve the organization's image, and effectively deliver on event objectives.
The Job
Develop and execute detailed event plans and concepts
Plan and organize a range of promotional, business and social events
Ensure the target audience is engaged and the message of the event is marketed properly
Manage event budgets, invoicing, and financial tracking.
Liaise and negotiate with vendors and sponsorship deals.
Manage event logistics and obtain necessary permits.
Provide timely update to senior management on event status.
Managing branding and communication
Handle data inputs related to event and reporting
Develop and analyze event feedback surveys in order to compile and analyze post-event reports to assess outcomes and improvements
The Person
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality, or related field
Strong communication and marketing skills with project management experience
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
Proficiency in event management software and tools
Experience in risk assessment and mitigation
