Our client is a well-known consumer goods company with a great product portfolio. Currently they are hiring a Director of Customer Service to join their team. They are looking for someone who has account management & leadership experience. Prior knowledge in covering international market is a must.

about the job.

As a Director of Customer Service, you will

  • Supervise and motivate a team of 9 to deliver excellent customer solutions to clients
  • Work closely with the supply planning team and make sure the production & order to cash process are align with the project deadline
  • Draft, implement, and execute policies and procedures to facilitate a quality customer service experience
  • Collect operation data for services performance analysis, planning for improvement and ongoing tracking for continuous optimisation
  • Maintain high operation metrics performance and make sure the service level is achieved
  • Provide consulting for support services and participation in account servicing with Sales
  • Collect and analyse customer system performance data for capacity plan and derive the proposal with a road map for customer future plan
  • Monitor and analyse the quality of service delivery and optimisation

skills & experiences required.

  • Degree holder from a recognisable university
  • Min 12 years of experience in customer service / account management (not sales) position, with 5 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Candidates from consumer goods industry / FMCG / airline background are highly preferred
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
  • Prior experience in working in multinational companies and handle global markets
  • Extensive experiencing of managing operational customer service teams
  • Strong strategic and customer focus with a clear understanding of the wider issues impacting the relevant markets
  • Proven Management and / or relationship management experience at a senior, strategic level role
  • Strong leadership & negotiation skills; Able to motivate the teammates
