About Ogilvy

Ogilvy's Social Team is rapidly expanding as we prioritise the creation and implementation of social media campaigns for our clients. Our team members are all individually nimble with array of skill sets servicing a plethora of clients across multiple genres of business with creative flare. You would be an important and reliable part of the team with a skillset to support and lead other team members and encouraged to grow as an individual creative.

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Content Designer & Animator to join our Social Team. As a Junior Designer / Animator, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including but not limited to animations, graphics, and videos. You will work closely with the Content Lead and other team members to create content that aligns with the brand's objectives and meets the client's needs.

What you'll need to succeed :

  • Creativity : You should have a good sense of design, colour, and composition. You should be able to come up with creative ideas and solutions to problems to produce compelling animations that align with the client's branding and marketing objectives.
  • Animation skills : You should have a strong foundation in animation principles, including timing, spacing, and motion. Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Maya, or Cinema 4D. You should also have knowledge of compositing, video editing, and sound editing.
  • Communication skills : You should be able to communicate effectively with other members of the creative team, including account servicing and strategists. You should be able to take feedback constructively and collaborate with others to ensure that the final product meets the client's expectations.
  • Attention to detail : As an animator, you must be able to pay close attention to detail and have a keen eye for spotting errors or inconsistencies in your work.

It’s Great if you Have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Graphic Design, Animation, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduate or 1-2 years experience
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their respective design requirements.
  • A portfolio showcasing your creative work, including animations and graphics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
