Responsibilities for Resident Building Services Engineer :

• Liaise and co-ordinate with the client, Head Office and contractors on matters related to building services work details, materials and workmanship, statutory compliance and issues related to site progress.
• Supervise and lead Building Services Inspection Team for the participation of T&C, mockup inspections, factory inspection, etc.
• Review and fine tune the design and shop drawings with the contractors to match with the actual site conditions
• Report and resolve design or installation problems or site difficulties
• Monitor and report the performance of contractors and workmanship on building services aspect
• Monitor the progress of works and attend regular site / co-ordination or ad-hoc meetings
• Provide on-site prompt responses to the Contractor’s technical queries
• Provide site records / evidence to support the client and Head Office on assessment of contractor’s claim for extension of work, or works disruption on building service aspects
• Assist in vetting of building services variation works
• Regular reporting to Head Office and support preparation to the Project Engineer / Project Manager in reporting of site progress is required
• Any other services as required by the client and Head Office for execution of the services

This position will be on a contract basis to work at a development site in Hong Kong International Airport for 38 months which may be lengthened or shortened subject to project development. Attractive remuneration package with gratuity will be offered to the successful candidates.
