Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Chief Manager (Loss Prevention & Training), the appointee will perform the following duties :

To assist in formulating and reviewing the health & safety standards, procedures, policies and manuals and monitor their implementation and related programmes
To conduct assessments, inspections, audits, incident investigations and root cause analyses in relation to safety and risk for workplaces and work activities
To provide training and organize promotion activities for employees and contractor on health and safety standards and best practices
To advise on any new and upcoming health and safety legislations and enable compliance with the legal requirements

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or related disciplines

A minimum of 5 years’ work experience preferably 1 year's working experience in public utilities

Good knowledge in local regulations, standards, codes of practice and EMSD’s Code of Practice for Electricity (Wiring) Regulations

A Registered Safety Officer is a must

Good computer skills of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Chinese typing

Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Holder of a valid driving license for Class 1 vehicles

Working Location : Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided.
