Financial Controller – AM Asia Pacific and Middle East - Global Finance

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Finance Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

• Period end close, accounting controls and balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation activity across all in-scope entities
• Compliance with Global Standards / FIMs
• Key processes and judgments, including in relation to impairments of investments in subsidiaries / goodwill / intangible assets, share based payments, deferred tax asset recognition, cash flow forecasting / dividend payments.
• Strategic transactions (including M&A activity); Relationship with external auditors; and Regulatory reporting across all in-scope entities
• Works with stakeholders within Finance and beyond to plan and implement changes to accounting and regulatory policy and standards and deal with ad-hoc requirements
• Supporting the AM Global Financial Controller, in all aspects relating to the financial control activities and M&A / ad-hoc projects; as well as have additional opportunities to deputise for the AM Global Financial Controller
• Ensures policies and procedures are designed effectively and operate robustly such that they meet internal and external audit and regulatory expectations
