Linux Specialist AVP / VP (Banking)

Job descriptionBachelor's degree inputer Science or related field; Master's preferred. 5 to 10 years of experience with Unix / Linux systems, especially Red Hat. Strong knowledge of Ansible Tower, Red Hat Satellite, and IdM. Excellent problem-solving Excellentmunication skills in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage Unix / Linux environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Oversee patch management to keep systems updated with the latest security features.
- Implement automation solutions with Ansible Tower for efficient configuration and deployment.
- Utilize Red Hat Satellite for provisioning, patch management, and lifecycle management.
- Manage Red Hat Identity Management (IdM) for centralized authentication and access control.
- Plan and execute Red Hat upgrades and end-of-life (EOL) management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with organizational goals.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for Unix / Linux systems.
