To cope with the regulatory reporting requirements, we are looking for a higher caliber to work with the team in Financial Reporting & Accounting.
What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Handle monthly and quarterly accounts and perform corresponding data reconciliation to ensure data proficiency
- Communicate and work with Finance team in other countries to ensure the month-end close procedures are handled properly in a timely manner
- Assist in preparing management reports, regulatory filing (such as quarterly returns, annual returns under RBC Regime such as RBC Pillar 3, and other regulatory requirements as and when required) and audited financial statements
- Assist in preparing internal reports and analysis for branch / group reporting purpose
- Prepare audit schedules for annual audit and cash flow forecast as and when required
- Participate in the finance projects ( IFRS 17, IFRS 9 and other ad hoc projects) and work closely with group project teams
- Participate in ad-hoc project and other assigned duties
You will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Accounting.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills :
University graduate in Accountancy or FinanceAt least 4-5 years’related experience in General Insurance company or auditing experience in International Audit Firm focusing on General Insurance companyPossesses professional qualification in Accountancy of recognized professional bodies such as ACCA, HKICPA etc.Hands-on experience in filing quarterly / annual regulatory returns to Insurance Authority and full set of books by preparing monthly / quarterly underwriting resultsExperience in liaising with other departments and shared service center in other locationsStrong analytical skills and ability to work independently and under own initiativeGood communication skills in spoken and written English and CantoneseAdvanced knowledge of MS Office Excel, Outlook, Word, Power PointFIND your future
