Purchasing Officer

Your role :

• To be responsible for sourcing activity including the preparation of RFQ / RFP documents, evaluation of offer / proposals, vendor selection and management, pricing and contract negotiation, etc.
• To ensure sources of supply are established by competitive means as appropriate.
• To negotiate with suppliers for better terms and conditions in the supply of goods and services.
• To analyze and prepare commercial evaluation offers.
• To ensure purchase orders are placed to approved suppliers or appropriate sources.
• To communicate and work closely with relevant business units to understand their requirements.
• To expediate delivery of goods and deal with delivery / quality discrepancies.
• Candidates with more experience might be considered for the post of Purchasing Officer.
