Key Responsibilities

Design Tech Lead for the team in leveraging technology in our design work

  • Able to handle multiple projects including assisting modelling and documents.
  • Able to help the landscape team to delivery of BIM based projects with coordination with other internal team(such as interior team .etc)
  • Manage BIM project data sets / workflows and project setup according to Benoy BIM Execution Plan and BIM Manual standards for these projects.
  • Manage project common data environment (CDE) with ACC.
  • Have experiences of landscape BIM project
  • Work in liaison with and feedback to the APAC BIM Manager for adjustments to the BIM Execution Plan and BIM Manual as required.
  • Have experiences of interoperation between BIM softerware (Revit) and design software(Rhino), if the candidate using parametric methods (Grasshopper / Rhino inside / Dynamo) during the process is a plus
  • Able to follow the BIM and Parametric system from APAC BIM Manager and provide the suitable training for the landscape team member
  • Have experiences of using parametric software such as Dynamo / Grasshopper, or at least basic understanding

Project Delivery

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the design process and project brief, supporting the preparation of the project deliverables and other activities related to the project development.
  • Deliver high-quality concept designs and detailed packages that demonstrate developed technical and / or design skills.
  • Manage third parties according to the parameters of the project.

    • Team Membership

  • Act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities.
  • Support company-wide initiatives and proactively seek feedback.

    • Client Relationships

  • Respond positively towards clients and consultants.
  • Provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required.

    • Budget Control

  • Recognise the importance of the project budget and seek to develop their knowledge of project financials.

    • Skills & Experience Required

  • At least 5 years of experience , with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from reputable University;
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
  • Advanced proficiency in prioritising across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in setting up Revit projects.
  • Knowledge in defining and updating Revit templates for different design stages.
  • Advanced proficiency in sheet setup, drawing extraction and model purging for external collaboration.
  • Advanced proficiency in configuring and managing projects’ BIM data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in resolving technical Revit issues.
  • Good creative flair and imagination;
  • Excellent graphics, strong design and communication skills are essential. Experience with landscape diagrams, landscape layouts and sections as well as 3D models;
  • Demonstrates creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and problem solving;
  • Inquisitive and a good listener;
  • Act as a team player, actively seeking feedback and demonstrating a positive attitude towards work and team activities;
  • Respond positively towards clients and consultants;
  • Provide support to senior team members with client presentations and meetings as required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator), AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint). Knowledge of Revit would be a plus but not essential;
  • Must be mature, well organized, confident and hardworking with a pleasant disposition and strong interpersonal skills and able to multi-task;
  • Quick learner with a high level of commitment will have an advantage;
  • Strong knowledge of tropical and sub-tropical plant materials and some experienced in Planting Design would be a plus;
  • Complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
