Role Summary

Bowtie’s mission is to make insurance good again, and our vision is to build a category-defining health insurance company.

The Head of Finance will lead the finance function of Bowtie, overseeing financial reporting, financial operations, and compliance while driving financial strategy and process improvements. This role ensures the accuracy of financial statements, the efficiency of financial processes, and the strength of internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, leadership skills, and experience in the insurance industry.

Your  Key Responsibilities Include :

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS / GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management, auditors, regulators, and stakeholders .
• Lead the year-end audit process , liaising with external auditors and implementing audit recommendations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with insurance regulatory requirements (e.g., IFRS 17, local statutory filings).
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
