PURPOSE
- This role is responsible for the design and delivery of our group wide Agency strategy and programs focused on developing NextGen Agency Leaders to achieve our ambitious business growth objectives.
- Developing our Agency leaders, with support from other initiatives, is critical to our sustainable growth. Continuously and significantly scaling up quality manpower and increase our No. of Active Agents rely on our professional agency leaders. The growth of our Agency leaders in both quality and quantity is essential to fuel our business growth.
- This role is a core part of the central / Group Agency team and supporting overall central Agency business objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
Significantly increase our Agency channel NBP through increasing both the quality and quantity of our agency leadersCollaborating with central Agency and other stakeholders to deliver groupwide strategic plan for AgencyGuide and / or lead LBUs to design and implement effective Agency Leader financing schemes to attract and develop talentsGuide and / or lead LBUs to design and implement Agency Leader Development RoadmapMonitor and review Agency channel performance, especially for Agency Leaders’ quality and quantity, and provide timely analytics, business insights and strategic guidance and tactical support to deliver business targetsReady to provide day-to-day or onsite business management leadership upon LBUs’ requestFacilitate best practices sharing across countries and lead to build up leadership and agency management capability for LBUsQUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated experience in Agency management with deep knowledge in agency leader development, quality recruitment, Agency training, etc.,Minimum 10 years of leadership experience and track records in life insurance sector; leadership of an Agency channel in an Asian country level is a plusUnderstanding of the insurance industry, including current and emerging business modelsExcellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with strong business acumenStrong communication skill and demonstrated experience to influence and persuade, particularly with C-suite level stakeholdersDemonstrates maturity and possesses transformational mindsetAble and willing to work independently and also as a team lead in a cross-functional environmentGood understanding of project management methodologies, framework, and standardsUniversity degree or above, and majored in Business, Commerce, Actuary, or equivalent is preferred
