The Strategic Procurement is responsible for the management of a wide range of purchasing activities which help to sustain the Club's daily operations and major community development projects.
The Job
- Lead the IT sub-category team (primary focus in IT Information Security, Broadcasting and Digital Solutions) in providing end-to-end strategic procurement and commercial and contract management services, including developing and managing the Club's supplier base and demand planning across the entire business
- Manage a wide range of purchasing activities for a portfolio of the Club's daily operations and projects
- Develop and implement sub category plans within responsible IT & Broadcasting cluster which ensures supply availability, meets quality standards, and delivers best value to the Club :
- Execute strategic initiatives and supplier strategies, including sourcing and tendering
- Monitor market intelligence and sourcing opportunities to ensure the Club's future growth needs are supported :
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Provide support in procurement process improvement
- Sustain a strong and cohesive team and ensure effective teamwork
- Collaborate with colleagues of various business units as appropriate to develop and maintain the most up-to-date view of potential category spend (i.e. demand plan) and evaluate supplier submissions and support their award and execution of contracts.
About You
Degree holder with professional qualification in Procurement, Business Administration or Information Technology (e.g. CIPS or equivalent)Minimum 10-12 years of procurement experienceTechnical expertise in IT, Hardware or Software areasCapable of negotiation; self-motivated with mature business acumenGood knowledge of strategic sourcing / procurement and commercial & contract managementProject management experience would be highly preferableHigh level of integrity, work ethic, and good moral valuesFamiliar with e-Procurement system development and operationAbility to establish, influence and maintain collaborative partnerships and engage in effective negotiations with a broad range of parties.Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is a plusExcellent general IT skillsTerms of Employment
