Our client - is a market leading financial institution with successful track record year-on-year. As part of the business strategy, they are looking for an AVP to support their Equities Trading Division. This will be a headcount under the Business Project team supporting various expansion initiatives to the Mainland China market. ...

about the job. You will :

Executive sizeable projects and growth initiatives for the Equities Trading business division
Responsible for projects implementation, propose business cases, feasibility studies and strategic solutions
Conduct in-depth market research relating to the macro-economic environment, global markets trends, new products development etc.
Prepare markets reports, conduct financial analysis and compile key trends in PowerPoint presentations
Act as a business partner to strategize projects with Risk, Compliance, Technology departments
Ensure growth initiatives meet with Hong Kong and PRC regulatory requirements with appropriate risk & control appetite

skills & experiences required.

Degree holder in Business Management, Finance, Economics or related discipline

At least 4-8 years business project experience relating to the Greater China market

Open to candidates from Management Consulting firms (financial services industry knowledge is ideal but not a must)

Experienced in liaising with China regulators and stakeholders

Excellent project execution ability, strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Confident, strong capability to work with Front-Office and multiple Business Heads

Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin (Chinese and English reports writing is required)
