Our client is one of the leading real estate management corporations is seeking a Regional Learning & Development Director to join their management team in Hong Kong.
The role is to create and implement a comprehensive L&D plan for Asia Pacific together with the AsiaPac HR team. This will be underpinned by establishing and delivering an L&D platform that delivers world-class learning and development solutions and opportunities to our employees and business.
Responsibilities
- To oversee and be personally involved in the identification, production and delivery of comprehensive learning solutions, tools and programmes for Asia Pacific. These solutions will predominantly, but not limited to, the areas of Leadership; Management & Compliance; and Sales
- Acting as the key business partner to senior stakeholders such as; Regional CEO’s, Managing Directors and Business Line Leaders
- Ensure excellent delivery and facilitation of programmes, whether personally, or through internal resources from L&D or other areas of the business, or through appointed external partners and vendors
- Measure the effectiveness of L&D programmes / agenda in driving business performance
- Assist in identifying specific L&D needs of key leaders and / or emerging talent to address knowledge and skills gaps aligned with future business needs
- Hire, onboard, motivate and performance manage a high-output / quality driven L&D team across Asia Pacific
- Develop a network of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who are capable of facilitating and brining in expert views to key business training event;
- Develop strong team network with L&D, ensuring team members are well supported and connected when delivering in their markets
- Play a leadership role in the setup, review and maintenance of the Learning Management System.
Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Learning / Training and Development, Business Management or related disciplineStrategic thinker, able to connect and influence a variety of stakeholders across the APAC region; proven ability in stakeholder managementRelevant experience of producing and delivering comprehensive training programmes and e-learning platforms within a multinational corporation environmentStrong communication and presentation skills with a fluency in EnglishProficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Learning Management Systems (ideally Success Factors)Knowledge and experience in blended learning, multi-media tools and / or other L&D solutionsSelf-motivated, well-organised with the ability to deliver effective solutions to internal customersPassionate for learning and development, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
