As markets rapidly change and develop, the finance function (CFO) is evolving to become the ‘Chief Value Officer’. The future of finance will be deeply rooted in technology, business partnering, insight, planning / forecasting, GBS, agility and automation…. all creating greater value for the broader organization. As a finance leader, you’ll use your experience and knowledge to help clients see and experience this future vision for the finance function followed by the opportunity to design and deliver that into reality.
Responsibilities :
Your key responsibilities
- Create and communicate a vision for the future of finance which is compelling and engaging for our clients
- Identify, pursue, win opportunities to lead the transformation of our client’s finance organization across the critical dimensions of change : strategy, organization, process and technology
- Deliver the envisioned transformation programs, managing project teams of finance consulting professionals across different sectors and client accounts
- Achieve sales and revenue targets which drive growth of the team and create opportunities for the broader team
- Develop new offerings and the teams required to turn these solutions into reality
- Build, strengthen and expand our client relationships in the market to open new doors
- Expand our internal relationships and network to deliver cross-functional projects and drive sales
- Manage project financials to ensure a sound and profitable portfolio of work
- Support development and progression of our team members
- Contribute to market strategy of the Hong Kong Finance Consulting team
- Be a market leader through development of thought leadership and promotion of our leading practices and ideas across different marketing and / or speaking events; extend the impact / reach of these activities through social media
Requirements :
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's degree in any disciplineMinimum of 9 years’ experience leading and delivering finance transformation in a client-oriented environmentProject finance transformation skills needed in one or more of the following areas : ERP (multi-platform), GBS / SSC, process automation, fast close process & platforms and / or FP&A / EPMPreference for experience in leading consulting or professional services firms or as an internal project leader for industry practitionerMinimum of 2 years sales-oriented experience in consultingProject / program leader capable of driving a project from conception to conclusionDigital technology as a second skills is preferableStrong interpersonal skills and able to interact effectively with c-suite, management and clientsExcellent supervisory, analytical, organizational and leadership abilityRelevant Professional qualifications are a plus, , PMP, CIMA, CPAExcellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese; Mandarin will be an advantageWhat working at EY offers
