Financial Accountant

Job Responsibilities

The role is responsible for ensuring validity, completeness and correctness of the purchase of goods and services, monitoring the recoverability of accounts receivables and ensuring company’s credit control policy are properly followed.

Main responsabilities :

• Responsible for the overall accounts receivable function and follow up with overseas customers directly for AR related matters
• Monitors the overall sales ledger and liaise with merchandising team on order pricing issues
• Handled sales reconciliation. Monitor the settlement of outstanding debts from customers (by reviewing the debtors ageing report) and liaise with customers and merchandisers to ensure prompt payment of invoices
• Acts in accordance with the Company’s credit control policy and report to management any irregularities timely
• Manages and maintains the requirements with our Business Partners
• Handles billing for both shipment and operating expense recharge
• Supervises and resolves reconciliation discrepancy
• Streamlines the AR function by efficient use of the accounting system and electronic banking system
• Manages bank reconciliation, inter-co reconciliations and month-end accounting schedules
• Conducts other accounting duties as assigned
