We’re seeking a passionate and adaptable Psychology Teacher for our international secondary programme (IB levels). You’ll bring the subject to life, foster critical thinking, and support students’ emotional and academic development.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons in psychology (IB standard), and ideally teach an additional subject such as mathematics.
Plan and assess : prepare lessons, assign activities, evaluate student work, and offer constructive feedback.
Encourage active classroom participation via discussions, group work, and critical analysis.
Support student welfare through pastoral care, classroom rapport, and sensitivity to diverse cultural needs.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design, pedagogy, and faculty initiatives.
Take part in extracurricular activities or off-campus events to enrich student learning.
Engage in professional development and strive for continuous teaching improvement.
Requirements
A degree in Psychology (or related field) with a recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in IB required.
A dynamic, student-centred teaching style with high academic expectations.
Strong teamwork skills and cultural awareness in an international environment.
Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management abilities.
