Quality Assurance & Improvement - Associate / Director - Hong Kong

We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate or Director in the Quality Assurance & Improvement team responsible for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of Internal Audit's assurance activities and programs.

The Internal Audit Division (IAD) drives attention and resources to vulnerabilities by providing an independent and well-informed view and impactful messages about the most important risks facing our Firm. This is aplished by performing a range of assurance activities to independently assess the quality and effectiveness of Morgan Stanley's system of internal control, including risk management andernance systems and processes. IAD serves as an objective and independent function within the Firm's risk management framework to foster continual improvement of risk management processes. This is a Director level position (P3) within the Internal Operations and Quality Control family, which is responsible for efficient and effective functioning of the department, supporting the ultimate delivery of high quality assurance services.

What you'll do in the role :

Execute quality assurance (QA) test program to ensurepliance with department policies and standardserning assurance activities ( audits, risk assessments and closure verification)

Perform QA reviews across all business units (, Institutional Securities, Wealth Management, Investment Management,pliance, Risk Management, and Finance), globally

Lead meetings with various audit teams, including senior staff members, to discuss QA themes and observations

Draft detailed QA reports according to standards

Track and verify corrective actions arising from QA reviews

What you'll bring to the role :

At least 4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Strong understanding of audit principles, methodology, tools and processes (, risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring)

Ability to ask meaningful questions, understand various viewpoints and adapt messaging accordingly

Amitment to practicing inclusive behaviors

Previous audit experience with aplex or medium size bank or broker dealer

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines

Ability to work independently
