The role will support the corporate business sales on group insurance, understanding customers’ needs and offer solutions accordingly. Perform all pre-sales preparations including sales pitching and quotation preparation. Handshake with agency force for post-sales activities and support cross-selling activities.
Job Responsibilities
To achieve persistent targets in pursuit of the most favorable terms and profitability to the Company.
To develop strategic relationships with agents, brokers and direct clients to support their strategic objectives and grow the Group Insurance business.
To support agents, brokers and direct client’s day-to day activities such as escalated claims and administration enquiries.
To serve agents / brokers and maintain good relationship with them with the aim to build up a strong customer base with agent / brokers.
To retain existing contracts and negotiate renewal contracts with agent, brokers, and direct clients in pursuit of the most favourable terms and profitability to the Company.
To conduct product briefings and training for intermediaries.
To collect market intelligence on competitor’s activities including competitor’s products, pricing, catalogues, selling tactics, etc
To liaise with internal departments. e.g. operations, underwriting, marketing, to ensure optimum service to intermediaries and customers.
To assist ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
Degree holder
3-5 years of experience in the employee benefits business
Mature, independent, self-motivated
Exposure in client meetings and relationship building
Experience in group insurance underwriting and / or servicing is an advantage
Familiar with group insurance market, the trend, related rules and practices
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Proactive, assertive, result driven individual and able to work under pressure
Good in corporate image building and sales pitching
Proficiency in PC skills and MS office applications
Great attention to details and proactive with positive working attitude
Good command of English, Cantonese & Mandarin
