CHUBBHong KongRole objective
This role will be pivotal in the development and execution of Chubb Life’s customer-centric proposition strategy across all its markets in APAC and Latin America. This role will report into Chubb Life Head of Product and Partnership with matrix reporting into Chubb Life Chief Customer Officer.This role will actively collaborate with Chubb Life’s cross-functional country teams as well as Global Chubb Life and COG (Chubb Overseas General) teams to bring more customer-centric, innovative propositions to market, focusing on Protection products.
Responsibilities
- Understand current product strategy, market benchmarking and target customer segments across markets
- Identify key gaps and opportunities for growing sales of Protection products covering Life and A&H; and potential bundling opportunities with non-life products
- Drive and leverage market research and data insights to analyze behavior and preference of target customer segment.
- Provide the customer perspective to product design decision-making based on the identified customer needs and identify the key selling concept for specific products and benchmark to competitors.
- Get the buy-in from local and global stakeholders on the target proposition and the go-to person for solution when facing challenges in addressing the feedback from Distribution, Investment, Pricing and Underwriting
- Collaborate with both local and regional COG team working out compelling bundled proposition using products from both Life and P&C entities.
- Organise regular product sharing forums for local product and distribution teams to share and learn the latest new product / proposition trend across different markets in Asia;
- Develop the culture of embedment of customer and channel needs into product proposition development among local product teams across Asia;
- Collaborate with Pricing, Distribution, Operations and Marketing teams to drive a coherent set of activities to enable the front line to effectively present, differentiate and drive sales for strategic proposition initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in developing Health & Wellness, HNW and Retirement propositions embedding value added service and offers.
- Identify product sequence, bundles, or top ups so the frontline has options to come up with the optimal product positioning for specific customer segments and scenarios (Eg : Retirement, Education)
- Support in market teams to sharpen product marketing initiatives to align to customer segment needs and market opportunities.
