Job description

Responsibilities

Oversee South East Asia markets accounting service provider to ensure month end closing and reporting are performed on a timely manner
Ensure all transactions processed are valid activities with sufficient documentation and procedural compliance
Maintain books and records in compliance with company policies and local accounting standards
Understand and monitor compliance with internal control procedures and policies. Identify and escalate exceptions from policies
Investigate and correct discrepancies in partnership with Corporate and other functions
Preparation of corporate reporting requests
Participation in Statutory Audits
Liaising with third-party tax advisors
Other Ad hoc tasks

Qualifications

Degree holder in Accountancy or related discipline

Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent

Over 7 years of working experience including audit and retail / FMCG industry background preferred

MNC working experience is preferred

Experience in supporting multiple countries in South East Asia region

Good interpersonal skills, team player, self-motivated and analytical mind

Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin); good verbal and written communication skill
