Our client is a well-known investment bank in the world. They are looking for a team member to support the algorithm and low-latency trading platform for the Electronic Trading team. This role offers a fast-paced and interesting mix of technical and business challenges, allowing to develop an in-depth understanding and hands-on experience in a TopTier investment environment.
Job responsibility :
- Be the first contact point for Front-office covering traders in handling queries of both technical and strategy-specific nature
- You will identify and drive opportunities to improve automation for thepany; scope and create automation for deployment, management and visibility of our services.
- Monitoring the platform and taking proactive action to provide a very high level of support service
- Managing and tracking daily production problems to ensure that problems are resolved in a timely manner
- Working alongside existing global and regional team members in various locations on a follow-the-sun basis.
Job requirements :
Practical experience in UNIX and ScriptingVery strongmunication skills with fluency in EnglishAble to multi-task and quickly understand new andplex systemsEnjoy new technological challenges and solvingplicated problemsHave 2-3 years of relevant work experience in application support in the financial industryKnowledge of Financial / Equities markets preferableAdvantageous Additional Skills :
Understanding on Algorithmic Trading, workflow, FIX protocol and market data systemsKnowledge of Asian equity marketsExperience of working in a front-office environmentExperience with scripting languages - Shell, Python, Perl and SQL
