System Support Officer (1-Year Contract)

The Department

You want an experience, a challenge in your career, you’ll work alongside with our Veterinary Professionals in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Services of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. You’ll gain exposure to our core business and our world-class racing. Under the guidance of our professionals, you’ll work on real projects.

This role must take strong initiatives, exhibit excellent analytical skills with strong ability in datamining, managing large datasets, disseminating significant amount of information, writing comprehensive reports and supporting the integrity and performance of systems for our dual site operations. Internal Training will be provided enable to carry your role.

The Job

You will :

• Identify the root cause and coordinate with IT team in providing feasible solution and advice to rectify system issues.
• Compile User Acceptance Testing (UAT) documents and perform UAT as per the business process and operating procedures.
• Prepare training materials and deliver training to users before implementation.
• Work with different internal teams to carry out business process improvement projects and workflow redesign.
• Provide regular reports, assessments and recommendations to the management.

Terms of Employment

The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate. Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
