Facilities Manager (Decarbonisation)

Our Property Department is committed to providing integrated, customer-centric, sustainable and cost effective asset management, development management, project management and facilities management services to the key Business Units in the Club.

The Job

You will :

• Act as a key support system to the Senior Manager in the development and execution of decarbonisation initiatives. Assist in creating and implementing strategies, coordinating teams, and tracking progress towards decarbonization goals
• Collect and analyse data related to carbon emissions, energy consumption, and other sustainability metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and help develop strategies to reduce the Club's carbon footprint. Prepare reports and communicate findings to the Senior Manager and relevant stakeholders
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, policies, and industry best practices related to decarbonisation, identify innovative solutions and recommend actionable steps to reduce carbon emissions
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of decarbonization initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with relevant industry partners, government agencies, and community organizations
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of decarbonization projects. Monitor and report progress to the Senior Manager, providing regular updates on milestones, challenges, and successes
• Plan and execute training sessions for Property employees on decarbonisation strategies, sustainable practices, and energy conservation to foster a sustainability culture within Property, providing guidance and support across Property Teams. Also involves coordinating educational and outreach programmes to raise awareness, engage employees, and drive behavioural change within Property
• Prepare budget proposals and funding applications for decarbonisation projects, ensuring compliance with budgeting guidelines and deadlines, and managing budgets to monitor expenditure, track financial performance, and ensure cost-effective resource utilisation
• Oversee and manage multiple decarbonisation projects simultaneously. Develop project plans, define milestones, allocate resources, and monitor progress. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
