Exhibition Manager (M+ Museum)

M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. You will be responsible for :

• providing support and project direction across the museum primarily to the Collection and Exhibitions team and the Curatorial team, with short and long-term planning, managing executions and implementations of all exhibitions, display projects, and other curatorial projects;
• liaising between key stakeholders, senior management, specific curators-in-charge and the Collection and Exhibitions team providing administrative support for procurement and record keeping as required;
• project managing all aspects of exhibitions, display projects, and other curatorial projects, ensuring compliance with museum standards, including but not limited to schedules and budgets, working closely with project teams, serving as liaison across all WKCDA departments, developing contracts, ensuring deadlines are met and overseeing installation of exhibitions;
• actively contributing to departmental meetings and the planning and execution of exhibition projects;
• developing agreements with the relevant departments and ensuring the museum is appropriately represented and procedures are adhered to;
• managing the master schedule of specific curatorial projects and supporting M+ international touring exhibitions if and when required.
