Responsibilities
- Develop internal relationships with investors to understand their investment philosophy and process in order to originate events
- Engage with the Investor Relationsmunity in partnership with corporate access team to strengthen Wellington's corporate partnerships and brand
- Assist to centralize and coordinate all corporate access activity across APAC, with a focus on Japan
- Engage with all investment professionals globally to gain understanding of their requirements in APAC
- Work closely with global counterparts in other geographical locations to provide corporate access updates and opportunities
- Work closely with sell-side counterparts, brokers and third-party vendors to manage corporate access activity
- Problem solve and liaise with our research providers to create the best possible conference schedules for our investment professionals
- Help develop and utilize technology to enhance management of the corporate access process
- Update and analyze current processes and procedures and actively suggest improvements and assist with training
Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant experience within financial services in particular corporate access and investor relations across the APAC region (deep knowledge in the Japan market will be essential)A strong team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skillsA passion for corporate access and its importance in the investment processAbility to build and maintain strong relationship withpanies and capable of initiating and delivering events base on market trend and knowledgeA service attitude and mindsetA self-starter who can think strategically and has a desire to learnAbility to develop relationships with investment professionals to gain an understanding and empathy with their needs as an investorExceptional written and verbalmunicationHighly motivated and proactive individual who is capable of working on their own initiativeHigh attention to details and consistency to follow through; accuracy with all work is essentialAbility to prioritize and multi-task as neededDiplomacy, yet strength to defend the right decision in a very visible situation and the ability to cope in a very fast-paced, pressurized environmentFluency in English and Japanese language skills is highly preferredProficient in Microsoft Excel and database skills preferredNot sure you meet 100% of our qualifications?
