The Admissions & Recruitment Manager plays a key role in promoting the HKUST MBA brand and driving strategic recruitment efforts across global markets. This position is ideal for a results-oriented professional with experience in outreach, admissions strategy, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Market Development
- Design and implement recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates for full-time and part-time MBA programs.
- Identify and evaluate global MBA fairs, webinars, and digital platforms for outreach.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform positioning and messaging.
- Initiate and cultivate strategic corporate relationships to support talent referrals, sponsorships, and long-term engagement.
- Drive initiatives to expand the HKUST MBA brand across industries and geographies, enhancing visibility and reputation among key employer segments.
Recruitment & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective applicants, delivering a high-touch, personalized recruitment experience from initial inquiry through to enrollment.Manage and respond to enquiries from applicants, prospects, and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.Develop and refine processes to ensure efficient and effective resolution of recruitment-related enquiries.Stay informed of recruitment practices at peer institutions to ensure HKUST remains competitive in candidate experience.Event Management & Engagement
Plan and manage recruitment events, including MBA fairs, info sessions, webinars, and corporate outreach.Coordinate personalized engagement activities such as coffee chats, trial classes, and alumni panels.Represent HKUST MBA at local and international events.Admissions Management
Oversee day-to-day admissions operations, ensuring smooth and timely processing of applications.Define and implement admissions procedures and workflows.Review and assess applications for interview selection, contributing to admissions strategy to achieve target class profile and size.Conduct due diligence to verify applicant credentials and prevent fraudulent submissions.Provide high-quality support throughout the admissions journey to retain and convert strong candidates.Candidate Profile
We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong execution skills and a passion for education and global engagement. You should be comfortable working across teams, managing multiple projects, and turning ideas into measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in recruitment or admissions, preferably in graduate management education.Strong planning and project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience with CRM systems and data analytics.Familiarity with the global MBA landscape and business education trends.(Duration : 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
