Head of Security, General Administration Services, Operations

Responsibilities :

• To manage / ensure the smooth operation of the section
• To supervise / manage all related staff and administrative matters of the section
• Constantly review operational efficiency, security measures and make recommendation for improvement to keep in line with modern technology and prevailing crime trend
• Act as “Principal Liaison Officer” of the Bank to liaise with Law Enforcement Agencies (e.g. Police, ICAC, JFIU, C&E, etc.)
• To prepare affidavit and give evidence in the court of law on behalf of the Bank
• To perform VIP Protection duties when necessary
• To be responsible for providing internal liaison with all divisions / departments on operational and educational issues for crime information and security measure
• To respond any emergency callouts at the Bank’s offices and branches (e.g. ATM fraud, etc.) to deal with bank crimes
• To supervise / manage the service providers in the provision of security guarding, the installation, testing and maintenance of fire safety, protection systems services in Bank’s premises
• To implement building security and safeguard the Bank properties
• To develop and introduce the standard operation procedure (SOP) to relevant staff and services providers, and to ensure full compliance with the Bank rules, polices and regulations
• To provide regular training to staff related to security measures and crime information and clearly convey crime information and ideas through corporate communication channel to staff for arousing security sense
• To perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as required
