Assistant General Manager & Head of Collections and Liquidity Management Product

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to formulate and deliver the strategy for a suite of collection and liquidity products to drive CASA deposit, receivables payment transactions and fee income.
• Keep abreast with the changes in market and competitor interest rates especially HKD and USD to maximize premium CASA revenue and volume.
• Keep up to date of latest market developments and industry best practices for corporates in specific industries and daily working capital requirements in order to maintain competitiveness in the market.
• Able to size the market and to ensure market share is constantly increasing to the expected level.
• Build and / or repackage collection and liquidity capabilities to meet WBG target customers’ requirements so that it’s a given choice to choose CNCBI as one of their cash management & operating banks.
• Innovate with technology providing information and connectivity to differentiate CNCBI solution from competitors.
• Early adopt digitization into the suite of collection & liquidity products.
• Able to make use of analytics to obtain insights to drive the collection and liquidity business.
• Ensure end-to-end process delivery is seamless by working with relevant risk owners, such as RMG, Operations, Legal and Compliance and other related stakeholders to deliver product enhancements.
• Conversant in account structures to build linkages either through real sweeps or pooling capability to manage excess funds.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers to selectively call on customers to understand changes in the market, regulations as well as customers’ needs.
• Ensure the products are adapted to regulatory changes and internal requirements.
• Maintain close partnership with other stakeholders e.g. Operations, Legal, Finance, Credit, Treasury, to analyse and cater to their requirements when the product requires their participation.
• Conduct regular training sessions to all stakeholders.
