We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Marketing Manager, Wealth.
Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will be
- The primary accountability of this role is to develop and implement marketing plans and programmes to support the Asia Wealth ambition of HSBC – this includes go-to-market strategies focused on promoting cross-continuum wealth proposition of HSBC - wealth marketing of products and solutions, thought leadership, and events
- Formulate marketing strategies and implementing marketing initiatives to reinforce the HSBC with 2 key focuses (1) Drive awareness, acquisition and usage of HSBC Premier, Premier Elite and GPB cross continuum (2) Drive deeper understanding, and eventual take up of HSBC wealth products and solutions to drive higher wealth penetration
- Promote HSBC wealth management solutions through paid, owned and earned media and establish partnerships where relevant to maximize value
- Applying internal and external insights and data points to develop and execute Customer Marketing strategies to achieve the business and brand objectives mentioned above
- Responsible for marketing creative development and governance, including stakeholder, agency / supplier, and budget management of his / her designated campaigns and areas
- Manage a disciplined approach to measuring performance linking business and customer results to all initiatives, perform analysis on campaigns to understand what is driving results
- Coordinate with the rest of the team in assigned focus areas relating to team governance and submissions
- Ensure marketing communications uphold the highest standards within the bank
- Support innovation projects and embrace agile ways of working
- The role holder will deliver this through unlocking market opportunities through insights, marketing science, data and analytics, creativity and innovation
- The role holder must support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behaviour, actions and decision-making
Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders
Lead and identify market opportunities to support delivery of the HSBC Asia wealth strategyDevelop and articulate a deep understanding of customer needs through external research and internal data for Wealth propositionsIdentify and work with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and ensure that marketing programmes and campaigns are effectively delivered and measured by all areas of the businessIdentify and ensure implementation of the assigned marketing strategies and plansManage agency partners across social, digital, creative and mediaBe a customer champion and adopt agile ways of workingLeadership & Teamwork
Own relationships on behalf of Marketing Function with all proposition and product stakeholdersLead on strategic areas assigned within the Marketing team, ensuring that the appropriate level of Marketing support is provided to these solution setsLead and leverage appropriate resources to deliver Marketing plans and activitiesChampion commerciality across marketing and business, including access to learning opportunities around key strategic initiativesCollaborate with the Hub specialist teams, Performance / Planning, Insight, Brand, Digital Acquisition and Events, to build strategic, client-centric solutions across the businessEncourage and enable constructive cross country and cross business collaborationDemonstrate Customer Centricity by thinking and acting beyond product salesAdopt and champion the agile ways of working in marketing and participate in business value streams, cross functional teamsDemonstrate and champion a speak-up culture by challenging actions and behaviours that are not consistent with HSBC's policies and, or the best interests of the business and its customersRequirements
To be successful you will need to have
Extensive consumer marketing experience at management role, ideally with Brand market experienceStrong business acumen and willingness to learn banking industry’s knowledgeStrong strategic and analytical capability, with hypothetical thinking and making sound judgmentExperienced team leader while being a strong team player, able to work in diverse culture across countries and across departments with strong stakeholders management skills and excellent relationship building skillsExperienced in project management driving for greater value through smart application of resourceProven ability to be a self starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environmentAbility to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new conceptsExcellent language skills – English, Chinese, Cantonese / Putonghua – both spoken and writtenOpening up a world of opportunity
