Assistant Director of Sales - Travel Trade

Responsibilities

• At all times strive to represent The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel Hong Kong in a professional, courteous, efficient manner
• Responsible for achieving rooms’ revenues as well as the targets set by the DOS within the year (generation of leads, prospecting, converting, team goals establishment, employee satisfaction survey results, etc.)
• Identify and develop strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and key industry stakeholders to ensure strong business return and an optimum reputation across the industry
• Assist in identifying market needs and trends in travel trade, defining the target markets, review direct competition and ensure complete awareness by all sales team of competitor’s activities, strategies and promotion
• Implement an effective sales plan and promotional activities for the department; to organize an effective selling approach to be used by members of the sales team; to conduct sales calls and to develop and maintain new potential, productive accounts in local and overseas market
• Conduct site visits, FAM trips, sales trips and trade shows as required based on business requirements and pro-active targets to maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in all markets
