The Opportunity
We're looking for a talented and driven Inbound Logistics Manager - Asia to join our Hong Kong team.
You'll lead the Inbound Logistics function across Asia, managing vendor and forwarder relationships to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant delivery of goods worldwide.
You'll also line manage a team of 4-5 Inbound Logistics Coordinators, guiding, supporting, and developing them to achieve success both individually and collectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global inbound shipping operations - ensure on-time, cost-efficient delivery across international markets.
- Manage freight forwarders and vendors, resolving booking, documentation, and performance issues.
- Oversee escalations for delayed shipments, customs issues, or trade disruptions, driving quick resolutions.
- Optimise logistics processes and systems (e.g. Navision) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
- Deliver clear and accurate reporting, providing KPIs, performance insights, and freight market analysis.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through consolidation, carrier selection, and route optimisation.
- Line manage and develop 4-5 Inbound Logistics Coordinators, ensuring effective workload planning, performance management, training, and engagement.
- Foster collaboration and alignment across Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Finance teams globally.
- Champion continuous improvement and compliance, ensuring adherence to trade regulations and customer shipping requirements.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in international shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain management (consumer goods preferred).Strong knowledge of Incoterms, global trade regulations, and customs processes.Leadership experience managing and developing a team : you will inspire, coach, and drive people forward.Excellent planning, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Strong proficiency with ERP systems (Navision or equivalent) and Microsoft Excel.Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build effective relationships at all levels.A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.Fluent in written & spoke English, with the ability to communicate clearly & confidently across global teamsWhat We Offer
