PIMCO HK to support the APAC regional work on day-to-day negotiation of investment management / distribution agreements and ad-hoc projects with Chinese language capability.

As such, we’re looking for a regulatory / funds lawyer :

5-10 years PQE with a leading law firm in SG or HK (ideally European or American) Working fluency (reading and speaking) with Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese Familiarity with legal issues and regulatory development associated with asset managers in the APAC region, including experience of negotiating investment management and distribution agreements; fund establishment experience in HK and China would be preferred; Experience working in-house at an asset management firm a plus Experience setting up HK domiciled SFC-authorised funds and China QDLP funds would be preferred.
