We are looking for a Front Office Manager based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!
As a Front Office Manager, we rely on you to :
- Monitors the Front Office and all front office personnel to ensure guests receive prompt, cordial attention and personal recognition
- Manage all aspects of the front desk to ensure the highest standard of guest service is extended to all the guests; provide on-floor support to the front desk during heavy check-in and check-out
- Have knowledge of all Job Descriptions and Standard Operating Procedures relating to each function within the Front Office and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures
- Familiarize with emergency procedures, regulations pertaining to the hospitality industry, the liabilities affecting the Hotel, insurance claim procedures and hotel and departmental policies; as part of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) member in the hotel when the need arises
- Proactively monitor cost and expense control systems and procedures to achieve highest possible profitability
- Ensure staff is properly trained on systems, security, cash handling procedures and service quality
We are looking for someone who has :
Degree holder in Hotel Management or related disciplineMinimum 8 years' experience in Front Office Department and at least 2 years in a managerial roleProven record in engaging guests and stakeholders and strong in business acumenExcellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational skillsExcellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
