Our client, a global investment bank in Hong Kong, is actively seeking an experienced senior candidate to to lead their technology initiatives for post-trade operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions that enhance post-trade processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, andpliance.
The role :
- Lead a team of technology professionals focused on post-trade operations, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Develop and execute aprehensive strategy for post-trade technology that aligns with the bank's overall goals and operational needs.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of post-trade systems, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Identify and implement technology solutions that streamline post-trade workflows, reduce operational risks, and enhance data accuracy.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including operations, risk management,pliance, and front-office teams, to ensure technology solutions meet business requirements.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring service delivery meets expectations andpliance standards.
- Ensure all technology solutions adhere to relevant regulations and industry standards, including market andpliance requirements.
- Manage the technology budget for post-trade operations, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost management.
What you offer :
Bachelor’s degree inputer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Experience : 10+ years of experience in technology management within the financial services industry, with a focus on post-trade operations.Strong knowledge of post-trade processes and systems, including trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting technologies.Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams, driving professional development and engagement.Experience managingplex technology projects, preferably using Agile methodologies.Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a strategic mindset.The sell :
